Background Alerts

To receive alerts when the app is closed or the screen is off, you must enable specific settings:

  • Set Location Permission to "Allow All The Time".
  • Turn on "Precise Location" for exact camera distance.
  • Enable Background App Refresh (iOS) or Autostart (Android).

App Keeps Closing?

Many Android devices kill background apps to save battery. To prevent this:

  • Go to Battery Settings > RadarGuard > Don't Optimize.
  • Disable "Low Power Mode" while driving.

How much battery does it use?

We use the latest technology, which is highly efficient. The app only fully wakes up the GPS when you are driving, saving your battery for long trips.

How do I update the camera database?

Radarakk updates its database automatically every 24 hours when you are connected to Wi-Fi. You don't need to do anything!
